Gallup: Bush Blamed More Than Clinton for Failure to Capture Bin Laden

"According to a recent Gallup Panel survey, the American public puts the primary blame on Bush rather than Clinton for the fact that bin Laden has not been captured. A majority of Americans say President Bush is more to blame (53%), compared with 36% blaming Former President Bill Clinton."

@VolatileWhimsy huh? Richard Clarke gave a very detailed report about the problems. There was handoff to Condi Rice, and from other aspects of the DOD. Even the CIA was publishing reports about the threats. Even the PDB in August had warnings. These are all msm and documented. And my calendar must be a little different than yours, as he was inaugurated in Jan/2001. I recall that 9/11 was Sept. 11, 2001. Them thar, is a long 8 weeks.

And if you meant 8 months, then I would have to say that was plenty of time for Condi to read over all the terrorism material given her by the previous administration, of which she currently has no comment on whether she read it before 9/11.

8 months is also plenty of time to plan a full aggressive war plan strategy for Afghanistan and Iraq. Guess what? As soon as 9/11 happened, we invaded Afghanistan. That takes time to plan and they were already mobilizing troops and plans before then.

Information even came out that Florida was put on Martial law 3 days prior to 9/11. There are some strange things, and stupid things that went on. Do I think Clinton was doing everything right, no. But I think it is clear that our President for the last 5 years has definitely not done much right at all. He is the biggest disappointment as a President I have ever seen. I voted for the guy, I hate to admit, but that was before I started researching and expanding my mind.
