I think it is important to note that the DOD has no problem suggesting the Able Danger program exists. However, there is quite a bit of controversy surrounding the findings of the program. Most of the program and "evidence" is still classified, but Shaffer and Weldon seem to disagree. As with most whistle blower cases, more information will come out in due time.
