Preparing for the July 4th TEA party events, a look back.

As we prepare for July 4th, lets remember how our country is running now and the way it should be run. The local, state and federal government has raised your taxes in the form of inflation, unfunded mandates, more fees and outright new taxes. We are coming together on July 4th to send a message that we are not going to take it any more, and we will exercise our rights for a redress of grievances and peaceable assembly. We want our republic back, we want our states to be individual and sovereign but still operate for the common good of the people.

The Federal government was created BY the states to form a Republic, NOT a democracy. A democracy is not mentioned a single time in the constitution and is the most despotic form of government because it is mob rule. A democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep sit down and decide what is for dinner. A Republic is when that sheep has a gun.

Barack Obama in his speech to Congress during his state of the union (in talking about the TARP bailout funds) said "I have told each member of my Cabinet as well as mayors and governors across the country that they will be held accountable by me and the American people for every dollar they spend. I have appointed a proven and aggressive Inspector General to ferret out any and all cases of waste and fraud." [end quote] Well I just wonder what form of government he exactly thinks we live under? The president is beholden to the states, and is CO-EQUAL with the legislative and Judicial of the federal. He doesn't get to send out TARP bailout money, nor question states rights.

The TARP and subsequent bailout funds are always disputed as "socialism", well people, its not socialism to distribute 12.8 Trillion dollars of tax payer money to corporations and banks, it is simply called THEFT.

The founders of this great country in 1775 took us in a totally different direction. Before, people were "ruled" by kings and queens, and by despotic power-hungry men. We then came up with the idea to "tie up the tidal forces of avarice and greed and tribal aggression of humans, put it into a republic and divide the powers against each other to create a safe zone for individual liberty to grow." [quote from our founding fathers] The individual is always oppressed by the power of government. Government is FORCE, and as such can be used to protect our liberties but unchecked it will create tyranny as it does throughout the world.

In the constitution we find instructions for how the federal government is supposed to be setup and run. The bill of rights, our first 10 amendments, discuss specifically those things which the government cannot do. It is generally thought that we are given rights in the constitution, but in reality the constitution is the chain which binds the governments actions in these matters. We must never forget this, because "when a government fears the people we have liberty, but when the people fear the government is when we have tyranny."

Just recently we were told by Senator Dick Durbin "And the banks -- hard to believe in a time when we're facing a banking crisis that many of the banks created -- are still the most powerful lobby on Capitol Hill. And they frankly own the place." [end quote] Do you want to be governed by how the banks want things run? Should our children be held in perpetual servitude in paying back the national debt which is created each time the Federal Reserve fires up the printing presses?

If you thought that our current bailout situation is unique or somehow a "new" idea, let me introduce you to G. Edward Griffin. "The Name of the Game is BAILLOUT" (from his book the Creature from Jekyll Island). The Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel (neither federal nor carries reserves) operated by the largest banks in the country. This cartel uses its influence and power to print money, create debt in the form of interest and manipulates exchange rates. (and he quotes) "The primary objective of this cartel is to involve the federal government as an agent for shifting the inevitable losses from the owners of the banks to the taxpayers. It is important to remember that banks do not really want to have their loans repaid. They make profit from interest ON the loan, not repayment OF the loan. One of the reasons banks prefer to lend to governments is that they do NOT expect loans ever to be repaid." [end quote] Thus you see the endless cycle caused by the Federal Reserve cartel.

In closing we must understand how this process works, and question our government. We can wave flags and shout patriotism all day, but I can "train a monkey to wave a flag, that does NOT make the monkey patriotic. I can't train the monkey to read the constitution or live the constitution." "Spectatorship is an invitation to fear. Citizenship is how we fight the politics of fear." Get engaged, talk to your neighbors, decide what you want from government and then follow-up with them, they really hate that.

Please join us for a TEA party in front of city hall on July 4th at 12noon. We have the whole park reserved, and we want everyone to come down and enjoy a couple hours with some song, speakers, and good conversation.
